Mobile Chillers find utility at Dockyards and Shipyards. When huge Ships and Submarines are taken for Refit or Major Repairs at Dockyards and Shipyards, whole or partial Air-conditioning is taken care by Mobile Chillers.
We are proficient to design & engineer Mobile Chillers in wide Ranges and Features. These Systems are offered as Custom Designs after preparation of complete Project Report.
Mobile Chillers can be categorized in two types
• Mobile Chilled Water Plants (10TR to 150TR)
• Mobile Air Chilling Plant (3TR to 60TR)
Mobile Chilled Water Plants:
These are used to supply Chilled Water to ATUs of Ships / Submarines under Repairs / Refit.
Special Features are -
Mobile Sea Water Chilling Unit (Capacity Range 10TR to 150 TR)
Trolley Mounted Sea Water Condensor Pump
Sea Water & Chilled Water Hoses with Naval Brass Quick-Toggle Couplings
• Self-contained Mobile Chiller, i.e. Seawater Cooled Condensor, Fresh
Water or Seawater Chiller, Compressor-Motor, Power & Control Panel, • Chilled Water and Seawater Pumps, Make-up Tank & Pump etc will be
mounted on Covered Mobile Trailer.
• Shell & Tube Chiller can be Shell & Tube DX type for Fresh Water
Chilling and Shell & Tube Flooded type for Seawater Chilling.
• Air-cooled Condensors consisting of Finned Copper Tube Coils and Set
of Axial Fans can be offered.
• Shell & Tube Seawater Condensors will be constructed with externally
finned Cupro Nickel (70:30), Gun Metal End Covers, Cupro Nickel Tube
Sheets and Carbon Steel Shell.
• Vide Compressor types i.e. Reciprocating, Screw or Scroll Compressors
are on offer. Further, Open or Semi-sealed Compressors can be
offered.
• Capacities upto 50TR can be offered with Sealed Scroll Compressors in
Tandem Arrangement.
• Condensor Seawater Pumps can be mounted on separate Mobile
Trolleys if required.
• Specially engineered Chilled Water and Seawater Hoses with Toggle
type Quick-connection Couplings of MoC Naval Brass or SS. Hoses are
non-collapsible and are Pressure Tested to 10 Bar.
• Seawater Pumps will have Suction Lift upto 8 Mtrs.
• Special Lifting and Downing arrangement can be provided for
Seawater Pumps for High & Low Tide situations.
• Low Turning Diameter, Hand Brake for Stationary use, easy Lifting
Hooks etc are additional features.
Mobile Air Chilling Plants:
These are used to supply directly Chilled Air to Compartments of Ships / Submarines under Repairs / Refit.

Mobile Air Chilling Unit (Capacity Range 3TR to 10TR)
 
Air Distributor & Flexible Insulated Duct
• Self-contained Mobile Chiller, i.e. Seawater Cooled Condensor,
Compressor-Motor, Power & Control Panel, Fresh Air feed AHU etc will
be mounted on Covered Mobile Trailer.
• Fresh Air feed Air Handling Unit (AHU) will be in compact
Construction. DX Cooling Coil is designed to deliver minimum 20°C
Temp Differential over Fresh Air Temp.
• Air-cooled Condensors consisting of Finned Copper Tube Coils and Set
of Axial Fans can be offered.
• Shell & Tube Seawater Condensors will be constructed with externally
finned Cupro Nickel (70:30), Gun Metal End Covers, Cupro Nickel Tube
Sheets and Carbon Steel Shell.

Air Delivery Ports for multiple Air Supply Ducts. Further, Provision of
Return Air from Ship to AHU Fresh Air Inlet can be provided to
enhance Output can be imparted.
• Specially engineered Seawater Hoses with Toggle type Quick-
connection Couplings of MoC Naval Brass or SS. Hoses are non-
